Outdoor Concrete Re-finishing
Outdoor concrete resurfacing is a method used to refinish, repair and enhance the surface of driveways, patios, walkways, parking lots and just about any outside concrete surface. The use of polymer modified overlays have been used for years to resurface concrete. Although very decorative, they don’t always last, and the cost can exceed the price to replace the entire concrete slab. CCS has taken our experience with concrete repair and developed a entirely new approach to traditional concrete resurfacing methods.
Our new unique system, best described as “mechanical concrete resurfacing”, produces a decorative, “exposed aggregat”e surface finish, without the use of overlay products and coatings, and is less than half of the cost of replacing the concrete slab. This unique new process removes the top 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch of the surface, exposing the natural stone aggregate found in the concrete slab. By removing the top surface, problems with the finish such as pitting, flaking, scaling, un-uniform texture, discolorations and other appearance ailments are removed.
